Deism
A deist is a person who believes in an all-powerful God, but has no allegiance to one particular faith or denomination. Many deists typically reject supernatural events (prophecy, miracles) and tend to believe that God does not interfere with human life and the laws of the universe. The deistic God is a non-personal God (as differs from a theistic God, which is a personal God).
Many deists recognize and respect the existence of some sort of entity which is responsible for our creation (either directly or indirectly as a byproduct of the creation of the universe) but tend to believe that this "God" is not concerned with the activities of man.
