I think it's a bit of an oversimplification to state that there are no absolute moral standards. Although I believe morality is subjective, there are certain activities that evolution has singled out as detrimental to the inclusive fitness of a group and they are pretty much universal across cultures. Activities such as murder, rape, and incest are outlawed in nearly every culture and although it may not be the result of a divine moral law giver, it is certainly the case that evolution has shaped our view on these activities. If there's any absolute moral standard, it relies on survival and reproduction - not fear of eternal damnation.

Morals are not relative. Right and wrong is absolute, provided perfect knowledge. Unfortunately, not many of us have perfect knowledge so intelligent people can disagree. Best way to add the references you're doing is to put a paragraph outlining the summary and then using a footnote to reference the actual article... like

* Morality is innate and universal because blah blah blah <ref>Is Morality Innate and universal [http://discovermagazine.com/2007/may/the-discover-interview-marc-hauser/article_view?b_start:int=2&-C=]</ref> and then later on add: ==References== <references/>

I want to avoid FTP ending up being a big array of off-site links under topics. We should paraphrase the core/summary of the information from other sources (acceptable according to Fair Use) and then use footnotes as a reference for more information. I want to minimize the amount of off-site links and mainly limit them to references wherever possible, in the spirit of Wikipedia. --Pile 01:53, 25 September 2007 (CDT)
